  • Tabatznik was previously the head soccer coach at Georgetown University (22 years). He has a Georgetown record of 220-187-23 and is Georgetown’s winningest soccer coach.

  • In 1994, Tabatznik was named the South Atlantic Region and BIG EAST Coach of the Year after leading the Hoyas to the school's best 18-4 record. It was the school's first-ever berth in the NCAA Championship, as well as its first BIG EAST regular season title. Georgetown's head coach was the recipient of the school's Outstanding Coaching Achievement Award for 1994-95.

  • In 1997, Tabatznik was named the BIG EAST Coach of the Year.

  • There has also been a near-perfect graduation rate over his 22 years, as well as a near-perfect retention rate (with only two transfers – and one of those students returned to GU after transferring).
